Tenzin Tsundue address a gathering of Tibetan students at Tibetan Youth Hostel Bangalore. He spoke on the current scenario of the Tibetan freedom movement at a program organized by Think Tibet and Fiends of Tibet.
Tenzin Tsundue is a restless young Tibetan who broke the rules and restrictions, crossed the Himalayas on food into forbidden Tibet! The purpose? To find out if he could lend a hand or two in the freedom struggle.
He was arrested by the Chinese border police and pushed back to india after cooling his heels in prison in Lhasa for three months. To many people Tsundue is a one-man battalion with his weapons randomly filed in his threadbare backpack. He can fish our pamphlets and stickers, staplers, cello tape, torch, marker pens, and thumbtacks at a moment’s notice.
Tsundue has been wearing red band around his head for the past 8 years which, he says is the mark of his pledge that he would work for the freedom of his country, and would neer take it off until Tibet is free, and work in the struggle every day. Red for him is the color of courage.
